Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology - Off? (CPU THROTTLING OFF?)

Hello All!

I have been told that turning this off in Bios could prob. Help me with some issues I have been having with music production, due to it causing dropouts in audio when the CPU uses this function.

Can turning off: Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology.... Harm my computer in anyway? My computer is NEVER running anywhere close to max temperature.

I am running LatencyMon. And it suggests I turn off CPU throttling in Windows and in Bios. Is that safe? And how do I do it?

it is safe. the only downside is slightly increased power consumption as your CPU will run at max clock
