Hello,
I am new and was wondering, if I would have enough power to run SLI. I currently have a Corsair TX750W power supply (750W) and an EVGA GTX 470 SC and was thinking of getting another one to run SLI. With my current power supply, will I have enough power to run both video cards?

Calculate the required capacity of your PSU

Corsair Calculator

Cooler Master PSU Calculator

Use known good, reliable PSU brand such as Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, Enermax..etc

If you know your load you should be able to determine your PSU wattage. Use the tool available on the web from PSU makers.

The check for for good PSU brand you can refer to hardware sites.

Even though people will suggest to you certain power supplies are enough based on the needs of your specs, keep in mind that you want to have enough headroom for your system and also for any small upgrades if you do.If you get the minimal, then you will not be able to add much, but if you go with a corsair 800-900w power supply, you will have enough juice, and you will have enough upgrade room -if needed. everyone kept telling me to get the silverstone Da 1000 for my 2 Nvidia 295's.It was enough, but barely enough.I added a Ssd and 2 case fans and it had issues, also if you are not certain,do your homework(research). It might cost you $40 or $50 dollars more for the 800-900w psu but it will be worth it in the end.Power supply is not a component to skimp on.I hope this helped, especially if you are going to overclock or overvolt anything in your system.
