Enough power to do crossfire ?

My rig so far
XFX 280x
fx 6300 OC'd to 4.1ghz
8gb ram
gigabyte ga-970a-ud3p (motherboard)
Corsair rm850 PSU

I was thinking of getting a Sapphire 280x TOXIC X and crossfireing it with my XFX 280x, would I have enough power to do this ?
I read that a minimum of 1000w is required to crossfire 2 sapphire 280x toxic's, would I have enough juice to crossfire my 280x with a sapphire toxic ?

It will work just fine im running two asus r9 290x cards on a 850w
