Hello guys !!!
I borrowed my friend vga card Sapphire 5750 and try it to my pc.
But when I turned on the pc, my screen was blank.
I had attached the 6-pin power the Sapphire 5750.
My power supply is 650 watt.
My motherboard is ASRock 945G-DVI (only 20-pin ATX power + 4-pin ATX connector + PCIE X16) and
BIOS was updated to 1.9 (latest BIOS).

The question are:
>Sapphire 5750 get enough power or not ?
Because I can run 8800GT on the same pc before.
>That's Intel chipset 945G support Sapphire 5750 or not?

Thx.

Did you uninstall the old graphics card before swapping out the cards? No removing the drivers before switching brands (ATI, Nvidia) can cause the new card not to be recognized by the OS, usually causing the blank screen phenomena.

Neither card creates a power issue

8800GT = 58 watts (256 MB)
5750 = 36 watts

Switching GFX cards however requires that you change drivers....this is "safe way":

1. Download latest ATI driver to HD; Uninstall Nvidia drivers, reboot
2. Clean out any stray registry items w/ a driver cleaner or registry tool like CCleaner, reboot
3. Remove nVidia card
4. Install ATI card w/ internet cable unplugged.
5. Install downloaded ATI driver from HD.

Thanks, Guys!!!

But, my screen blanks from beginning. No text description like processor, memory, harddisk, etc.

I changed the BIOS to detect my PCIE.
Then, took off all the harddisk, optical drive, and also used 1GB memory single channel.
But, screen still blank from the beginning.

I switched the vga with 8800GT and it worked fine.
Then switched back with 5750, screen blank at all.

This sounds like the card doesn't work... that's the only thing I can think of.

The problem was the motherboard.
I bought a new motherboard with 785G chipset. Then, installed the Sapphire 5750 and it worked.
My vga card is ok. My screen didnlt blank anymore.

So, thank you for your advice, Guys!!! :D :D :D
The problem is done.
