Enough power to run a 5750? (am i taking a serious risk?)

Hi,
I got this power supply: "Coolermaster eXtreme Power 460W PSU" some time ago. What I didn't realise at the time was that those bastards lied and this PSU can handle a max of 400W all toagather. So what I need to know is if I've got enough power to run this card.

At the moment I'm got:
Phenom II X2 550 BE
Freezer 7 pro
2GB OCZ RAM LINK(I plan to get it again so I can have 4 GB)
Case antec 300 with 1 X 140mm fan and 1 X 120mm fan

So after all that how much power do you guys think I have left?

Also if I underclock the card a bit could that help?

Or I'd appreciate suggestions for any alternative cards.

You should be fine, the 5750 only requires 86W, you have about 300W available from the 12V rail, even with fairly conservative estimates you come up with more than enough power.

You should be able to run the 5750 off of that PSU, even at 400W. The 5750 is a remarkably low power using card at a max of around 86 W. It BARELY needs the PCI-e power connector. If you are nervous about it, you can drop to a 5670 which does NOT need the PCI-E connector, but also drops a decent bit of performance. I would go for the 5750, and if you are worried about it, pick up a new PSU- Corsair, Antec, OCZ, etc. all have reasonable 400-450W supplies that will handle it very well for not too much money.

Yes- its a good card. the 5770 is a better value, but it uses about 22W more at full load than the 5750, but even that should still run fine with a 400W PSU. Tom's review lists the total system power draw maxing at 208W for the 5770 (granted, not with full CPU load, but you'll never stress your GPU as much as Furmark does anyway).

Edit: Note my 2x5750s I love the cards, though I would have bought 5770's if I hadn't been given a 5750, so I bought a second.
