I hace had my system for about a year now and I have saved enough money to add a second GPU. I want to add another gtx 650 ti boost for sli and I was wondering if my current power supply would be enough. Here is my system currently:
Mobo: gigabyte ga-z77x-ud3h
RAM: Gskill 4GB 1600mhz x2
Cpu: intel core I5-3470
Gpu:gtx 650 ti boost (nvidia)
Hdd: wd blue 500gb 7200rpm
Psu:rosewill stallion series rd600 (600w)
Os: windows 8

I just ant to know if I have to switch out my psu to prevent any danage to rhe system. Thanks!

For a system using two GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST graphics cards in 2-way SLI mode NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 33 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

The Rosewill Stallion 600W (RD600) power supply unit, with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 46 Amps and with two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors, is more than sufficient to power your system configuration with two GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST graphics cards in 2-way SLI mode.
