Hey All,
So I'm building a computer and I'm wondering how much voltage I'll need out of my PSU. The parts list follows and my current PSU is a 430v.

Intel i5 2500K
ASUS P8Z68-V LX Motherboard
2x4GB sticks DDR3 G.Skill RAM
DVD-RW Drive
500GB SATA HDD
Radeon 6870 Graphics Card
Rosewill case, 2x120mm fans, 1x140mm fan

Thanks

that is cutting it close with the PSU you are going to need around a 600W to power that computer and that is counting in the extra 100W to be safe. NEVER CHEAP OUT ON A PSU YOU WILL REGRET IT!

alright, thanks for the link. As far as games go, I'll mostly be playing LoL, Civ 5, SWTOR, and possibly the new ghost recon and splinter cell games (might get them on Xbox though)

The 6870 should play those games nicely... it is not an overkill you did a good job picking out parts =)
