Enough Watts for this build?

Solution

The VS-series is no better than tier 4 on a rating system with 5 tiers.
Whether it is "Good Enough" is a decision that you have to make. Will it...

Wattage wise that should be enough, but the VS series of PSU from corsair is kind of low-end. If you must have a corsair, I would recommend the CX or CXM series in a 550 watt version.

is this psu not good enough to handle those specs?

But consider this:
The PSU is the heart of your system, without it NOTHING works! The PSU is the only component that, if it fails, can take out ALL of your other components. Never 'cheap out' on the PSU, it is false economy.

Personally, I would spend the extra money for a higher quality PSU. YMMV.

It's not so much the wattage as it is the quality of the build of said PSU. That's what you really need to research. Having enough wattage is one thing. But the question really is - how well is it made? Get a well made PSU and it will last you several years. Get a poorly made one and it will take your system down and most likely everything with it. Make sure you get a PSU that's well made in addition to having enough wattage.
