Ensorcio's a chicken!

When I was replaying Serpent Isle a few years ago, I came across a rather
strange bug. After I released the Banes, I returned to the Sleeping Bull
and noticed that there was this chicken that was walking around the house,
opening doors (which was really weird because he extended his wing to do
it). I double-clicked on him, and discovered that it was Ensorcio!
I was cheating a bit (though not too much, it ruins the game) so I was
wondering if something I did scrambled the usecode file...
Anyone else have this experience? (SI only, not Exult)

Speaking of which, something fun I discovered some years ago. In Ultima 6
there is a spell called "Fear" or "Terror" which is supposed to cause your
enemies to run away from you. In Paws (I think) there's a healers where
they have people lying in bed. Cast the spell and you'll get an
extremely...interesting result.

Yes, I remember one time when I first visited the Sleeping Bull and
intended to find and talk to him he was initially a chicken. I think he
must turn himself into one either randomly or during his daily schedule.

Well as you may or may not know, there's no sprite for a character laying
in bed. You just have normal walking, sitting, sitting on a horse, and a
corpse. So in order to have people lying in bed they needed to create a
sprite just for those characters. The sprite is nothing more than a head
resting on a pillow. If you cast Fear (or whatever it's called) all these
bodiless heads on pillows start running around the room.

Hehe, yet another thing to try when I get around to playing the PC version
of U6.
