I have a 250 GB SSD in my desktop, combined with a 2TB HDD. I have used about 1TB of my HDD, and my SSD is nearly full at around 220 GB. now as I understand it, when my SSD is full anything my computer tries to store goes to my HDD instead. But I want to buy a new 500GB SSD, but the computer(as far as I know) does not automatically detect which disk is faster. so the computer will store data on my HDD once my original SSD is full, still leaving the new SSD empty.
how do I change storage priorities? or am I wrong and does this actually go fully automatically?
