I love n-sync more than a school girl. G-sync looks cool too.

Seriously though I'm looking forward to the first 16:10 IPS G-sync capable panels, until then... Meh!

At least I have something to wait for in the monitor department.

The survey is telling me "file size too large" - I tried 1.5mb and 900kb files. What's the maximum allowed file size?

Edit: The maximum allowed file size is 500kb.

I hope g-sync works well in Quake Live, ideally with zero perceptible input lag.

According to the contest rules, no. You must have a VG248QE monitor already as well as a recent Nvidia graphics card in order to participate in the contest.

I entered but they should fix the form to allow jpg files was a pain to convert jpg to gif and had to do it like 3 times as allowed file size is wayyy too small not sure how they will figure out if the monitor in the picture is even the correct one as picture quality was severely degraded.

I'm a dedicated reader of Tom's USA and I consider it one of the best informers on tech. So I want to ask: What would it take to open up such competitions to European residents? It's a shame for all those who follow Tom's so closely. Thanks!

Well that would be nice but I am not going to go from my 3x Asus 27" monitors down to a 24" just for G-Sync. Not worth it at all. Plus I have never had a problem with Vsync being on anyway ever. Now if they would have included the monitor also that would have been something to enter for.

This sucks. Come on Tom's Hardware. You guys need to start including us Canadians for these competitions. We have awesome laws with respect to winning things and having them shipped to you from other countries. Please, please, please!

I did enter the contest and I also submitted a photo with VG248QE.

Location: San Francisco, California

Kepler GPU: ASUS DirectCUII GTX 670

I am excited to try out this new technology DIY Module G-Sync to deliver this very smooth, responsive framerate as well as seeing No Screen Tearing, No Stutter, and Less Lag.

I have been using CRT monitor for 14 years (back in 1999) and I believe modern LCD Gaming monitors are far superior than its predecessor.

I have the monitor but no new nvidia card. But if i would be eligible and win i will get nvidia instead of ati in march ish when i buy a new card!

No new Nvidia Card? Well, you better get yourself a Kepler GPU 700 series to ensure that G-Sync and Kepler GPU will communicate each other with output device, Monitor.

I have ASUS DirectCUII GTX 670

I have the ASUS LED 24" 1MS VG248QE R and 1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB (Includes PhysX) (Overclocked EVGA) is this the correct combo? How would the kit be added to change the monitor and would it void my warranty? Monitor is less than a year old.
