Hello!

I was just wondering, the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe is exactly like the Enthoo Pro except with a few more bells and whistles aesthetics wise. However, looking at these performance chart of both, it seems that the Enthoo Pro is better in terms of GPU Cooling despite having the same interior as the Enthoo Luxe. How is that possible? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I'm really curious! Thanks!

The chart for cooling performance of both:

First of all, thanks for the reply.

Not sure what you were looking at, but there is a 7C difference. On the chart, look for Enthoo Luxe and then Enthoo Pro. The blue bar is GPU temp and the red bars are CPU temp.

On another note, I may be crazy. Please do tell me if you mistakenly looked at 2 highlighted bars instead of the names!

Edit: Here, look at this pic. This is what I mean.

Please see new link I posted above! Both the Enthoo pro and luxe without HD cage, yet the Pro cools better. Really confused.

Just looked at both cabinets on the Egg, and the Luxe comes with a top fan, the Pro doesn't. Other than that, I can't find any reason for different cooling numbers. You'll probably have to read each of the articles to find out what differences there were in testing methodology, equipment tested, measuring equipment, possibly ambient temps, there can be a lot of reasons to get different temps, just not sure what those reasons are in this case. Even driver updates can make graphics cards run cooler/more efficiently on certain games etc. A lot of people don't take that into account when they're looking at charts. They're just guides, mileage may vary.

I looked at both reviews, both test systems were exactly the same and were monitored with the exact same software. Everything, basically, was same when testing. Yet the Pro is 7 degrees cooler despite having the EXACT interior design as the Luxe. The Luxe even comes shipped with a top fan as well like you mentioned, yet it runs warmer. Weird.

The front panel on the Luxe is removable, so that's not a problem. But do you really think that the front panel could result in a difference of 7C? Not saying it's not possible, just want to make sure. My current case is completely restricted at the front, and with the front panel completely removed I notice a difference of only about 1C if any.

will depends on the filters as well did u see the H440 filters? they are thick as hell and no dust is allowed to get inside

im not sure but maybe the enthoo luxe filters are thicker more damping plus the front panel for even more damping u should try to find a noise review i think the enthoo luxe would come out quieter

but TBH the best looking air cooling case is the FT02 (this is my personal opinion coz it looks badass)

Well, my current case IS the H440 lol, and even with the front and top panels removed, 2C degree difference maximum difference. I don't care about noise too much, my H440 isn't even that quiet with all fans at 100% when gaming. I know about the FT02 and it cools really well and I can see how it would appeal to people with its exterior and interior design but personally I don't like the look of it at all (just my opinion, not saying that it's bad, just not my cup of tea).
