Hey all!
I've come across the following "enthusiast" build from PC Part Picker and I was intrigued:
https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/hGwrxr/enthusiast-gaming-build
Currently I am running a system as follows:
I'm looking to move into something like the linked build and am looking for feedback on it. I'll probably keep my GTX 980 as it's more than sufficient to run any game right now in 1080p and it can handle many in 2160p as long as I don't max things. I'd like to shave off some of the cost though. For example:
1) Is that case worth it for $204? Is there a quality case I could grab that's cheaper?
2) What about the difference between a 6500K and a 6600K? There seems to be a $40-50 difference. Is the performance between the two noticeable?
3) Do you think going SLI with another 980 would be worth it eventually or should I do a 1 card upgrade to a 1070/80 in the future (not going to do it now)?
Thanks!
