Hi guys. I'm working on a new build - just doing research right now and had a question I was hoping the experts of tom's might be able to address. In this over-the-top build, I will have two 480mm radiators each featuring 8 fans in a push-pull configuration for a total of 16 fans. Yes, I know it's unnecessary but that's what I'm going for here.

My question is, is it possible to use a fan splitter, such as the Silverstone CPF04 to connect each rad's fans (8 per rad) to this splitter, then from the splitter to a fan controller that would fit into an HDD bay? I'm thinking of the NZXT Sentry Mix 2 or the Lamptron FC5V3 which both support 6 channels and 30 watts per channel. 1 channel for front intake, 1 for rear exhaust, one for top radiator and another for the side radiator which leaves 2 for potential LED strips or something. The case that makes this possible is the Corsair 900d.
The splitter is supported by a SATA connector to the PSU, AND the fan controller is supported by a molex to PSU.
