[SOLVED] Entire laptop randomly drops frames

I have a gaming laptop, i've had it for about 5 months now. It's worked amazing, i love it. But for the past month or so, randomly my entire computer will start lagging dropping to 1-2 frames and it lasts for 5 seconds up to a minute or so. It's extremely annoying and can really mess me up in games. Heres the thing though, it happens outside of games too. For instance, i was just switching to my better wifi network to download a game, and my computer just dropped fps and lasted that way for about 40 seconds. I can't see to find any solutions because everyones problems seems to be in games, but mine happens in and outside of gaming. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it so much.
Specs: RTX 2070, i7-8750H, 16GB DDR4 Ram, 512GB SSD, 1TB SSHD, 144h screen.

Solution
Two things I can take from this:
1)The single stick memory config, aka, single channel mode. This will gimp performance in cpu heavy scenarios.

2)Did you change anything in the past month? The 2070 wasn't even detected in the benchmark, so it ran off the cpu's igpu instead.

I'm going to assume you have a good internet connection? Bad connections can also give you...

I'm going to assume you have a good internet connection? Bad connections can also give you lousy fps due to latency.

Is there anything i can do about the single channel mode without changing hardware?
I have not changed anything, i haven't messed with my computer, it hasn't been banged up, nothing like that.
Here's one with it using my GPU after i set the nvidia thing to always use my GPU:

For the internet, i travel for work so sometimes my wifi is good, sometimes its bad. Though this never visibly impacted my fps, even on my old desktop which wasn't as strong as my current laptop.

That's a physical limitation, so not really. The most you can do about it is to crank up the ultra settings to try to reduce the cpu load.
Cpu and gpu temps have been fine in game?

Not even Windows auto updates?

Just checking.
Only really an issue in games that require a constant connection.

I would bite the bullet and get another 16 gb of ram and check the bios to see if its up to date. There is of course a lot more you can do.
