Question Entire PC Freezes weirdly with Windows 10

For about a month now i've been experiencing a really weird freeze that has been happening on my PC. It starts with programs not loading anything and when i interact with any program it freezes. e.g. clicking the windows button in the bottom left the button lights up as if i clicked it but nothing opens. Sometimes if left for 20 mins the issue resolves itself but it always comes back after a few days. The best way for me to describe it would be as if the computer is trying its best to load something so hard that its freezing everything.

My Specs:
GPU: RTX 2070
CPU: i5 9600KF
RAM: 2x8gb 2666mhz DDR4 HyperX Fury
Motherboard: Gigabyte B365M DS3H
PSU: EVGA 600 W1

I have my system running off of a 1TB SSD with a 2TB HDD for storage.

I have not seen any GPU or CPU overheating, I'm just wondering if any of you would know a cause for this?

Anything hogging your resources in the background? And what's the capacity in your OS drive? Try to limit it under 70% for optimal performance + don't frag it. Just do system clean up.

OS Drive is about 50% full and the highest i've seen something get in Task manager is 50% RAM usage, nothing on there seems to inticate what is happening.

Is a clean OS reinstall an option for you?

I was going to do that but i just wanted to check if anyone thinks it could be a hardware issue first
