I want to build my first gaming pc rig, but it's something I feel I'll need help with. I've been doing my research for a bit and I have basic knowledge. I don't want to mess anything up so I'm here asking for some advice. I mostly play League of Legends but I also play a wide variety of Steam games and want to run these games at the highest possible settings with good FPS.
I'm looking to spend about $600 dollars roughly, if it goes a bit over it's fine. I don't have and OS but I've already accounted for that. I also want the possibility of future upgrades.
Anyways according to my research I found that these four parts are very well praised.
CPU: AMD FX 6300
GPU: MSI R9 280
Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
HDD: Western Digital Black Series 1TB
I've seen a lot of recommendations for those parts, but I'm having trouble selecting a good compatible Motherboard, a reliable PSU, RAM, a decent DVD Drive, and a Mid-Size tower to fit it all in.
For cases I was thinking the Corsair Graphite Series 230T or the Thermaltake Versa H22 but I'm open for suggestions.
Any help would be appreciated. I plan on building this PC in a month or two, possibly sooner,
EDIT: What I've come up with so far. Is this good, any improvements?
