Entry level laptop

I'm looking for a low-to-mid range laptop. It needs to browse, have decent sound, and run Quickbooks. Some older games may be run on it as well. Right now I'm looking at two.

If I were to get this one, I'd want to upgrade to an SSD fairly quickly.

I'd probably upgrade to 8gb ram and an SSD in short order on this one as well.

I used to build systems a few years ago, so I'm no neophyte, but I'm out of the loop a bit. Which is the better system? Also, I'd welcome any suggestions in a similar price range. Thanks!

Either one should do.

The i3-7100u (Acer) is overall more powerful than the A12-9700P (Lenovo) in processing performance. On the other hand the integrated AMD Radeon R7 (Bristol Ridge) graphics core is more powerful than the Intel HD 620 graphics core. The Radeon R7 is roughly equal to a nVidia 930m dedicated GPU which is pretty good for integrated graphics. The Intel HD 620 is a little less powerful than the nVidia 920m. Both 920m and 930m are weak in the grand scale of things though.

One thing to consider is the screen resolution. The Acer has a 1080p (Full HD / FHD) screen while the Lenovo has a 1366 x 768 (HD) screen. Having done work on a HD resolution screen before, I can say that I find the low resolution to pretty irritating because it does not display a lot of information on the screen compared to a FHD resolution screen.
