SO it deleted my first post. Here we go.

The case is a stand in, but I think I will have some extra cash, and want to know, for gaming across the board without worrying too much about super high FR, just functional ones, and planning on putting a VC in down the line, should I get the r5 2400G over the R3 2200G, or get 16GB of RAM (maybe at a slower speed) knowing that the APUs use 2GB for the video side of things? Or does it make sense and will run fine with 8GB at 3000mhz and since I can still use the 8GB when I can upgrade to 2 more sticks, and if I wanted a better CPU/APU wouldn't even be able to use the replaced part? I am leaning towards the better APU and just living with 8GB at 3000mhz til I have the cash to get more, which will be long before the VC, and I may get another SDD before that too, not sure.

Sorry for the block of text, I had a better written question but it got deleted before post! My own fault, but thanks in advance!!!

Solution
i am using 2200G+ 2400mhz 2x4gb green nothing fancy ram. and get 30-35fps avg in BF5 and shadow of tomb raider at 720p mix setting (higher texture+ anti aliasing on+low shadow)
on older titles like GTA5 i get 80+ avg at 1080 mix setting, CS:GO 100+fps max setting

so if you going with 2400g+ 3000mhz 2x4gb or 2x8gb you should get 6-10fps avg more than what i am getting on similar settings.
6-10 might not sound a lot but when u getting 30-35fps avg 6-10fps avg make a lot of difference

if you want 16gb thats up to you, i would suggest 8gb is more than enough with those APUs (even with 2gb for VRAM)
single stick is a big NO NO, your fps will drop by 15+fps, get dual channel Kit.. getting one now and one later could cause both ram not...

also there is no point adding a GPU on APU, 1060 will bottle neck it and 1050ti is just not worth adding to APUs performance improvement is just not worth the money.. so either get ryzen3 1200 or 1300x + 1050Ti or ryzen 5 +1060 or 1070.. i will not recommend adding GPU to an APU.
APU are good, if you not a hardcore gamer you will be fine, i am having ball with this 2200g its dirt cheap, i will not trade this even for a 1080ti build ..
this thing is like a HOT hatchback
