How do I get a good environment score for sims that go to work or
school? My garden is chockfull of trees and flowers and expensive
statues and they love it (well, their score says so) but as soon as
they step on the street environment score plummets. Tips?

Are there any puddles on the street left from pissing nannies or water
balloon fights? Check the street all the way to the corner in both
directions. Check your yard for weeds, shrubs that need to be trimmed,
flowers that are dying, etc.

It seems to me that there is also a proximity issue. Something nice,
close by, is better than a lot of nice things far away...

Nope, everything is clean. And it always goes this way!

Environment bar is full as long as they are in the garden, so it also
is when they walk up to the car. But the moment they step _off_ the
sidewalk, it plummets. Since I can't place anything _on_ the streets,
I don't see what else I can do.

I'm going to guess it's the car...

It also happens with limousines and helicopters.

I think you have a kicky bag object. Don't lost kicky bag objects ruin the
environment score? Go have a look at Variousimmers to see. I think it is
TwoJeffs that has a lost kicky bag object deleter.

Hm... but the game never hung or something like that... and I think
it's been always this way. But I'll check it out, thanks.
