[citation][nom]alidan[/nom]i dont get it... if dx10 or 11 isnt even used, why wouldnt xp be on the recomended oses? i mean there isnt even listed more than 3.5gb or ram...[/citation]
It is listed, the Recommended list's windows 7 and vista because of their DX10/DX11 support, which the game Does support.
Still need something with enough power? The GTX260/4870 provide similar performance, perhaps you need that much even in DX9 mode for the recommended level. What I thought was funny was the minimum said 256MBs, 7600GS. The 6800GT has 256MBs, and is faster then the 7600GS. Why isn't the 6800GT the minimum card?

im still looking here DirectX 9.0c compatible, why not say 10 or 11 if it supports them?
Oh good, I still don't have to upgrade my 3 1/2 year old system. Well, I would IF I wanted the recommended settings but I don't really care as long as it place decently. I'm waiting for games to come out that won't even run on my computer. THAT might be a year, at least.
Fantastic. 280GTX cards are silly cheap at the moment. i planned on selling my 2x 280's in sli for a 570 card, did just that, then found that the 280's are dirt cheap. Dammit.

What a really STUPID reply. There might be thousands of people looking for reasonable upgrades with regards to graphics cards and the 280 is a great buy.
there had better be a variable precipitation of bullets in this game... almsot as if some sort of meteorological even involving projectiles were occuring... or i'll be sorely dissappointed
I don't know which is worse in hindering pc games. Sloppy console ports or DX9 compatibility two OS generations after XP? Enough already, Just Cause 2 didn't support DX9 and it did just fine.

are you for real... nobody should buy this card... the 5770 is a faster card and cost about 100$ and more energy wise... you prefer nvidia, go with a gts 450 (if you cant afford the 460 768meg)

Yes it does... you picked a game that is optimize for Nvidia...
check the sum of FPS for a 1680*1050 with AA and AF and you will see... the 5770 come out a winner (not by a big marge but still and its a dx11 card and it have a HDMI port, smaller, more energy wise, lower noise)

Show me your link for the 280 at ALOT LESS
In Canada, a 5770 cost around 110$ canadian, a Gts 450 cost the same (i even have a link for a 450 for 99$ CDN
and the 280 well could not find anything under 200$ which is a joke
