I moved my case and when I tried to switch it on,the LED did'nt come on-so no POSTing. Now the company I bought it from say my CPU overheated and damaged the board. Can this be since the overheating protection in the BOis would switch the PC off before the this happened. Now they would not help me because they did'nt put the heatsink on.Anyone know who can help me with this or who I can contact.

remove the board from the case and try it that way. You said moving the case caused the problem, maybe something shifted in there and now it's grounding.

only thing left is to clear CMOS and try it. If it still doesn't work, either the board OR the CPU is bad.
