I have a epox EP-8K9A7I M/B with a AMD XP3000+ CPU. I have just purchased 2 x 512mb DDR400 corsair memory sticks (vs1gbkit400) which corsair states is compatible with my M/B. The board supports up to 2 gb of DDR400 when the fsb is 266/333 MHz. At present, the fsb is at 166 MHz. When I accessed the bios to change this setting, it asked for the new value to be entered as a decimalism. How do I enter say 266 MHz as a decimalism? I attempted to enter the value as .266, but this value was not accepted. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know, but I would hazard a guess that the problem is that the Mobo is asking for the actual mhz speed of the memory. That is 133 or 166. Since the RAM is DDR or "Double Data Rate" it is expressed as 266 or 333mhz 133/166 times 2). So, try putting 166 in your field and see if that does it.
