Hello everybody

I recently changed to a new computer running Win Xp. The 2000P driver
is built-in. But I found the built-in driver to render much worse
photos than the driver under Win 98SE. And there is no preview
function.

Is there any way for me to improve the quality of the prints?

Thank you all in advance.

The Epson site might be more useful. ;-)

Yes, as Ed says, you do not want to use the "in box" driver from Win XP.
Do not allow it to be installed. Remove the in box driver and restart
your computer and when it asks for the driver, indicate you have it on
disk, and put in the disk and tell it how to find the driver on that disk.

Thanks everybody.

Actually I did install an Epson driver, but, because there was no
driver for Win XP, I downloaded the driver for NT 4, which is probably
wrong. It printed incomplete files.

Is the driver for Win 2000 the correct one to use?

Thank you all.

If there is no XP driver for your printer, usually the WIN2000 works
within the XP environment.

At least on the US site there is an XP/W2K driver:
