Epson 2100 Paper Cutter

Hi all

Anyone know why Epson have stopped supplying the Auto Paper cutter with the
2100, I just got one and their is not one supplied and it is not mentioned
in the instructions or picking list.

My guesses: ;-)

1) Blame it on the bean counters: they decided that it is an optional
device and you can pay extra for it

2) Blame it on the lawyers: they decided the company might get sued if
someone lost a finger using it.

Re #1 if they have now decided to sell it separately it is not listed
anywhere as an accessory, so I suspect its #2

HOWEVER be aware that they may have removed support for the cutter as well
as the cutter itself. I think there are switches on the 2100 somewhere that
tell the printer when the cutter or CD try are fitted for example.
