Aha, that is a problem I am trying to solve now. My pad is totaly grungy.
A couple of springs popped loose when tryinmg to clean it. Anyone know how
to put them back?

Thanks for the tips, I REALLY need to get my 600 back working if at all possible.
Made the mistake of trying non-Epson cartridge, should have come and read here first -(.
