Hi, I have Epson Artisan 810. After manually cleaning a print head, my printer prints just some lines on the page, and when I try to check ink level, it says "Communication error". What could be wrong?
Thank you, Julia.

Solution
I manually took out a printing head and cleaned it with solution, don't think I damaged anything, maybe just not eniugh. I tried to do automatic head cleaning after and it got better, but still not perfect. And still doesn't show ink levels...
I did another automatic cleaning and it got better, just few broken lines, so I think it is fixed. Thank you for help.
When you say "manually cleaning" what exactly do you mean? Depending on how you cleaned the printheads you could have damaged something. Communication error, provided its not the software acting up, could mean you damaged a sensor or disconnected a ribbon cable in the process. The fact that its not printing could be from a number of sources even including material used in the cleaning got jammed in the nozzle.
