Epson Cartridges R210 and C63/C83

The R210 and the C63/C83 cartridges look identical yet the R210 cost is
here $23 yet the C63/C83 sell at $15. ( ~30% cheaper) They do fit.

The C63/C83 cartridges will not work in the R210 as its not recognised
by the printer. (Next Ill try swapping the chips.)

Is there away around using the cheaper cartridges? has anyone tried?
