Sigh! I'm not having much luck trying to find a driver for this beast.
It looks just like an Epson Stylus 1290, but the 1290 driver doesn't
seem to work, just prints garbage. It works well with the Win 2000
generic/text only driver, but that's a bit limiting.

Is there a 'universal' Epson inkjet driver? Anyone got any ideas on
which Epson driver/s might work on it?

Thanks,

John Mackesy

One user's solutions at:

(Copernicus found plenty of hits for Epson 2200,
none for Epson 2200C.)

Thanks Dan,

I got a Japanese speaking/reading relative to check out and translate
the Epson Asia website. They pointed me to a driver, downloaded,
installed - printer goes exceptionally well. The best part/s of all:

1. It's essentially a freebie
2. It seems to have done zero miles

Thanks for the Epson printer stuff; I look forward to reading it and
checking out some of the possibilities.

Rgds,
