Epson printer keeps saying not connected to computer

My Epson XP-200 used to be fine and i regularly had to unplug to move it around for stuff. Now it keeps saying printer not connected and i have tried every port on my PC. Epson support might as well be recommending a new printer as they are no help at all. It seems as my computer might not know its plugged in because nothing comes up that a new device is in whenever i plug it in so that could be where the problem lies. any ideas?
If you need more info on the problem just ask but this is the gist, the printer is on actually it works cause i can print from the copier just not from the computer as it says not connected.

seems like it could be drivers because it recognizes something is there. Have you tried re-installing or updating the drivers
