Epson scanner 164OSU

Hio all..Can someone help me with this dull problem!! I have a new computer running on windows7 home ed' (64bit) I want to plug in my old perfection scanner164OSU but it will not get recognised when the USB goes in..I tried the download page but still nothing. I think I may have thrown out the original software discs !!Thanks, Tim

If by 'download page' you meant epson.com did not have the drivers, then it most likely is not compatible with win7.
