What is the best way to access the printhead for cleaning purposes ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don'tas such need to access it or indeed attempt to remove it. Fill a
used cartridge with either the past favourite Windolene (USA Windex) a
window cleaning fluid which contains some ammonia, ( In the UK Mr Muscle a
shower cleaner works well) acting as a solvent for printing ink. Run a
cleaning (Priming) cycle a few times with this and print a few cleaner
pages.
This dislodges and frees up any encrusted ink and paper dust residues and
should beallthat is necessary to get you going again.
If you feel safer with the Pro cartridge flush and unclogging fluid it is
available here.

You may naturally alsohave to reset the cartridge chip with a resetter.

I do not recommend removing the printhead for cleaning purposes. In 99%
of the cases, it can be cleaned properly without removal and reduce the
risk of damage considerable.

If you email me I will send you a manual that explains the process, no
fee, no spam.
