Epson stylus cx7400 clogged jets

I have epson stylus cx7400 printer, almost new. We went out of town for months and came back and found that it had clogged. After many attempts to clear the printed by using the cleaning methods that epson recommended, nothing worked. Yes, I put in new cartridges, no help!

this is not an uncommon problem with Epson. The printhead are clogged, and requires major surgery to replace the print head. Almost new?? if its warranty call Epson.
if out of warranty, time for a new printer. suggest Canon or HP printer.
