Epson stylus photo 870 win 7 64 bits driver

Epson only directly provides drivers for this printer up to Windows XP 32-bit, which are found HERE .

You might be able to locate them elsewhere by googling it but they are likely to be 3rd party drivers and they aren't always guaranteed to function appropriately.

You may also be able to install them using Compatibility Mode by right clicking the .exe file and choosing Properties and then the Compatibility tab.

I just changed from winXP to win 7-64 and found Epson has no drivers for my stylus photo 870. After reading the above messages I decided to try "add a printer" from the win 7 menu. I turned on the printer, then the program went to the internet somewhere "to update the printer list." I chose the 870 from the list, then the system invisibly installed the driver and the printer works! Can't really say exactly what happened, but it was quick.

This was from an old thread on the forum, this user claims what i stated earlier should work.Give it a try!
