Epu on or off

What's up guys, got a question. I finally overclocked my cpu yesterday and woke up this morning to my keyboard being on, so I searched and seen to turn it off I have to enable epu on the bios, my question is do i need it off if I overclocked? Below are my specs
Amd fx 8350 O'Cd to 4.3ghz
Asus m5a99fx r pro 2.0
8G ram
Corsair h100i
750w psu

Epu engery efficet mode, switch it off, its not like your trying to save energy if youre overclocking, I disable all c-states, energy saving features etc when I'm overclocking, so that my system is running at full speed all the time.
