Hi All;

I want to say Thanks in advance for your time in helping me with this
question.

I've just recently gathered enough silver to start looking in the market for
gear. I go to my room and click on the board and browse the market. I
write down the info for 2 or 3 pieces of gear I want and off I go to that
players home to buy it. The first time I did this, I right clicked on the
door of the inn for that player. Their name was listed, I select it, go in,
and buy the item from that player. The next 2 pieces of gear I do the same
thing, however, when I get to their home and right click on the door, their
name does NOT appear on the list so I can't go in. So, I thought I wrote
something down wrong and go back to my room, open the market and look again.
There they are, so I make double sure I write everything down correctly. I
go to these 2 different player's home, and go through the same thing. Their
name is not on the list of homes to go into so I can't buy the items. I
don't want to go through a broker yet and pay the extra 20%. A couple of
days later I log in, browse the market, find a couple of items and go
through the same thing. No names on the door to the selected players. Each
time I go through this, I might get 1 item out 3 or 4 that I can actually
enter the room and buy the item from the player.

What am I doing wrong? Can the merchant players be in one instance of
their home town when they set up their merchant, and I'm in another instance
of their town? I am careful to look on the list of towns when I click on
the bell to make double sure there are not 2 instances of a town and that I
might have clicked on the wrong one.

If I'm doing something wrong, please correct me.

Again, thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

If when you go to the player merchant's house in question and try to access
their home you will notice an area that you can type in a players name. The
list that is shown is sometimes truncated because of too many players
dwelling in the same Inn or House instance. If you will type that players
name in the box, then it will bring up their home and you can then double
click their name and enter their house.

Instanced, with all the inherent problems that brings.
