I am starting up in Eq2

can anyone tell me which servers have UK based people in them, I have
heard of Runny eye, but this shows a Full on char creation.

Any suggestions of other servers where I could find a good number of UK
based players.

Well, they had free transfers from Runnyeye to Faydark to help with
the Runnyeye overpopulation, so you could try there. Antonia Bayle
probably also has a lot of UK (or rather European, which translates to
similar playtimes as UK) players, but that is probably just as full as
Runnyeye is.

You can still create a character on Runnyeye, or should be able to,
anyway, they've said there are no hard limits on server population.

That doesn't stop you from making a character there. The gameplay doesn't
seem to suffer from the server population.

As others have said, Faydark was the second "suggested" location for
European English players, but note BOTH these servers are located in the US
and will be maintained on US times.

There will be a new European English server located in Amsterdam sometime in
the next couple of weeks, and, as I understand it, free movelogs will be
offered from Runnyeye and Faydark only initially. The huge advantage of this
server is that it will most likely be patched in Euro-friendly times, i.e.
3am Amsterdam time. At least, once the daily catch-up patches are done with

Nice to hear it, that's been one my main reasons for not gettine EQ2. I
just hope it doesn't become too full - competing with other players to
get onto a server is a pain in the bum :)

Never being put in a server queue and I play mainly at peak times.

I don't think Runnyeye that bad any longer. At first the lag was so
bad at times you had to stop and wait else you could magically jump
half way across the zone. I recalling being in one zone and all the
NPCs and PCs vanished! I just sat and waited for 5 minutes until
everyone turned up again!! But now I'm getting no major lag, even in
busy places banks.

Patch times are generally at 12-3pm. So, if you work it only hits at
the weekend and only for an hour. Plus it gives you a chance to do the
101 other things you should be doing instead of play EQ2!!
