EQ2 Spellcrafting

I upgraded all my spells to apprentice 3, but i didn't know what i was
doing all of them were only just barely made.

I see the quality has 4 bars just like most other things, so what
difference is there between a spell that only made the first level to
one that made the forth level ?

Nope. Spells are unique in that quality does not matter. All four will give
the same result. (although I believe you still gain bonus artisan exp for
creating a "pristine" spell as opposed to a regular one.)
