HI anyone know how to make waxed leather in the recipe it says refined waxed
leather plate,but dosn;t show how to make it refined.Any help would be much
appreciated as i'm new to this trade skilling stuff. tia Tek

Usually, "Refining" is the first step. Whatever takes raw furs as the
input is *probably* the regining step, but you'd want to ask an
expert.

Bad news - it's a rare drop, unfortunately.

I have the same recipes (and wanted to make a waxed leather backpack)
but can't.

However, I'm not sure if it's book that's the rare drop, with normal
ingredients, or the fur you need in the first place.

Most crafting stations have the option to make things that are Recycled,
Refined, Interim, or Finished. If when you click on the Loom and then click
the edit button, then you can choose the Refine option, hit OK at the
bottom and it will show you what is required to make Refined Leather of
whatever type.
