I dinged 15 Sham and I did not receive this spell / skill. Is is something
you have to buy? Where / how do I get this?

Hit 'K' for Knoweldge book and hit Spells tab. There you'll see a new icon
has shown up for Eidolic Ward. Put this lifesaver in a very visible spot, it
will save your ass often. It's a Ward that takes no power and no time to
cast, but has a long recast timer on it. Great addition to your toolbox.

Some spells you get partway through a level. In beta, at least, Eidolic Ward
came at 6 yellows toward 16.

I'm not sure about THIS spell but:

You get ALL spells that are part of your class when
you 'ding' the appropriate level. That *may* be
partially into a level. Druids, for instance, get SoW
at 13.8 -- 80% of the way through level 13.

Note: you may also receive certain other spells,
such as ones targeted on a specific type of mob,
by doing quests, etc. You won't receive those
if you don't do the quest and so on.

It's also useful to know some (all?) of the spell
lists out there are NOT entirely accurate yet,
even on the low-level spells.

Thanks - I did indeed get it at about 60% thru the level.
