equalizer in sound enhancement is gone

Hello everyone


As the title says i can't find anymore the equalizer on the enhancement menu in the speakers properties as shown in the picture

does anybody know how to get it back ?

Sorry, but yours looks just like mine always has since Windows XP. I never had anything else.

i always had equalizer along side other options

Ahh, I see. That has to do with hardware that I have never had. I see that the setting that you are describing is provided by some kind of Realtek hardware, not by Microsoft. That is the reason that I have never had that feature.

That's a feature of sound drivers, with my Realtec drivers even sound enhancements don't exist.

you must download the realtek audio driver. go here: http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
and accept the agreement. than choose 32 or 64 bits, according to your ram: less than 4GB ram goes for 32bits, more than 4GB ram goes for 64bits. I think this is what you want.

I have very latest drivers from couple of days ago. Funny thing with Realtec drivers, same chipset and same codec chips on different make of MB different look and functions of control panel. For instance, MSI has equalizer and for my Gigabyte, don't.
