Hi, I have a problem with the APO EQ.
A month ago I formatted my PC with a clean install and since then when I reinstalled the APO EQ it gives me problems, not in the headphones in general, but only in the microphone. Basically, when I installed the EQ, (having CORSAIR VOID ELITE USB headset) I installed it for both the headphones (CORSAIR Earphone) and the microphone (CORSAIR Microphone), so far so good, the microphone can be heard perfectly.

The problem is after I installed the EQ for the microphone this works for 2-3 times I turn on the PC, after that the EQ uninstalls itself, in fact going to the APO configurator it shows "APO not installed" (see picture). So, I reinstall it and it works again, after a while it uninstalls again and I always have to go ahead and reinstall APO for the microphone. What could be the problem? Before I formatted the PC it didn't do that. I should add that for headphone EQ I use Peace.

Where are you gettin APO EQ? Version?

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing/logging some activitiy or activities related to APO EQ.

Installation, update, uninstall....

Another way to possibly find out what is happening is to use Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer (Microsoft, free).

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer

Next time you install APO EQ and while it is in use/running check all three tools for any related processes.

Then when APO EQ uninstalls or otherwise disappears again look to determine what, if anything, changed.

Update History and Task Scheduler may prove revealing.

Some problem or failed update or some trigger via Task Scheduler that effectively "ends" APO EQ.
