Hello, we're currently doing a research regarding the performance of a Thermoelectric Cooler with the use of an Air Cooler (typical air cooler for a CPU but we sandwiched a TEC between the cooler and CPU). We're stuck on how we can get the theoretical performance of the CPU in regards of the theoretical temperature of the CPU under load. We're using Cinebench R23 and AIDA64 for stress testing and we got the temps through HWInfo. Can someone suggest what equations can be relevant in our research in the Mechanical Eng'g field like in heat transfer?

Thank you very much.

Heat transfer, Thermodynamics.

Seems very much like a homework or test question.

Forum rules prohibit doing homework assignments, etc..

And we have no way of knowing the truth of the matter in any case.

Which equations to use.... That is for you and your team to work out.

Determining the relevant equations is part of the research process.

What equations have been considered?

Why were those equations (if any considered) rejected?

Closing thread to further posts.
