How to erase Windows 10 after clean install.

I accidentally did this last night using a DD command in Linux Mint.

It is very important to remember that a computer is a useless piece of metal without an operating system. You will need to install some operating system if you get rid of Windows.

Also, you can not delete Windows from inside Windows, you have to be outside of Windows to delete it.

For all of this I highly recommend some flavor of Linux.

all you need is boot from the windows 10 dvd or usb stick. you can use diskpart commands to wipe the drive after you get to the c prompt or you can in advance mode delete all of the partions then exit the installer using f3.

To the op, be sure to format the drive after you delete all parts of Windows so that you can install a different operating system into your computer.

You will need to replace your Windows with some operating system.

I take it that you really hate Windows 10. You should at least try it out for a couple of days before you decide that you do not want it any more.
