How many people don't have a clue about the new runewords? I was playing
last night and kept getting questioned as to how my enchantress was casting
valk and why my ES/FO sorc had meditation fog at her feet.
Other than looking funny, I don't have a problem with my ES sorc carrying an
insight scythe, a little bit of fast cast for when she is casting in the
light tree and more mana regen than she could ever get from warmth. She
carries the scythe, her merc carries an insight poleaxe as a mana backup,
and to spread the area of effect when partied.
In SC the only times she has died is the two times that mana burn uniques
swarmed her before I could teleport away.
I saw some mention of some of the pole arms (the thresher type) not working
with insight as well. My third one (first a scythe, then a poleaxe) will be
a partizan. Still haven't found a good high damage 4 socket polearm for the
merc better than a partizan.
