Hi all,

I recently replaced my old board with a M4N98TD Evo. After the install I installed drivers from the Asus disk. periodically I hear the *dee-dump* sound associated with plugging/unplugging a USB device and my USB keyboard stops working. The keyboard and mouse are the only USB devices plugged into the computer.

Windows has also popped up a "Your Generic USB Hub can perform faster if it is plugged into a hi-speed port" a few times.

I'm at a loss on how to further diagnose this problem. I tried looking at event logs, but couldn't find anything about USB events.

Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me mad.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using an Apple 105 key keyboard, there aren't any official drivers and I don't recall installing anything special to get my keyboard to work before. Additionally I didn't do a full re-install of the OS after changing MBs. So if I did have a special driver I'd expect it to still be around.
