Hello guys,

So I currently setup an SSD for my computer like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulmmYmbwowY&t=333s

I cloned my internal hard drive into an SSD, and then I formatted my internal hard drive. After that everything worked fine and I managed to boot from the new SSD drive. (Computer is the same as in the video) After that I reboot and a BSOD appeared, then I'm facing this error 0x00000225 that won't let me boot.

What details you guys may want me to provide so you can help me troubleshoot this issue I'm facing?

Solution

A Macrium Rescue CD or USB has some repair functionality.
Create one and boot from that.
See what it does.

If that fails...you're left with a wipe and reinstall.
1. You never, ever format the old drive until you absolutely know it is working from the new drive on its own.

2. At the end of the cloning process, you needed to power off, disconnect the old drive, and allow it to try to power up from the new drive.

3. Does the system boot up at all?
If you can, please show us a screencap of your current Disk Management window.

1. Yes, that was a mistake.

2. It's an internal hard drive - can't be removed.

3.It doesn't boot up at all.
