Question Error 0x80072F8F, while activating windows vista.

When i was trying to activate, it came up with this error. Tried to change things on regedit, changing time and date and even trying to activate it over the phone. All of these methods didn´t work!! (and i can´t update to 7 or downgrade to xp, vista is the best option)

HELP NEEDED!

Beacuse, my pc is a potato called eee pc, and xp and windows 7 boot very slowly, but vista boots much faster. (at least in my potato eee pc)

There sure is a patch, you just have to install it during the grace period before it locks you out.

What are you wanting this system to do?

I don´t like linux´s ui, and compatibility. And i want it to do emulation, (like n64, snes and nes) and basic tasks.

They were on WindowsUpdate, which has been shut down for Vista. So you have to instead get these two updates for Windows Server 2008 which are still listed in the Microsoft Update Catalog for download and manual install.
