error 15: HL-search

Greetings,

I havea desktop with Windows 10 64-bit on it. I want to install software that makes use of a dongle. The light of the dongle is working but when i click on the program icon i always get this message: Error 15: HL search

It's a software USB dongle for cnc programming software (sentinel). the release of the programme is from 2007 but my computer runs on windows 10 pro edition. The light of the dongle burns red.

i downloaded Aladdin diagnostix. When i press check key, i get following message:

module address: 29809
access: local
API return: 15
Port: (n/a)
RUS ID: (n/a)
additional info: invalid environment string

When i want to start the cnc programming software on my desktop i get the following message:

Error 15: HL-search
Does anybody know what i can do?

HL Search = Headlock Search

There is probably a new version of program by now
