Error after CMOS battery change: "This CPU is not supported by this model"

Hola there. My friend changed the CMOS battery of her PC today and now she gets this message during startup:

"This CPU is not supported by this model. Please check CPU QVL on Asus website.
To continue, please press F1.
Press F1 to Resume"

No issues after quitting the BIOS, but I'd like to know if I should change any of the settings in order to avoid this message. I take it the micro is compatible since she's been using it for quite some time without problems.

Motherboard is M5A78L-M LX3
Processor is AMD Phenom II X4 955

Motherboard supports CPU up to 95 Watts TDP (Thermal Design Power).

AMD Phenom II X4 955 has a TDP of 125 Watts. CPU is not supported by your motherboard.

Thanks for your reply, Calvin. Will her computer go kaboom if she keeps using it? It's been a few years since she bought that setup. Also, is there any way of getting rid of the warning message?
